Holiday Care Packages for Troops

LCVFSF Will Partner with AbbVie to Send Holiday Care Packages to Troops Deployed Around the World

Lake County Veterans and Family Services Foundation will partner with AbbVie to send Holiday Care Packages to troops deployed around the world.

On November 17, staff members of LCVFSF will work with AbbVie employees and members of AbbVie’s Veterans Employee Resource Group, to pack the Care Packages.  AbbVie donated the funds to make the shipments possible.

Care packages include items such as snacks, deodorant, shaving equipment, body lotion and Q-tips.

“Men and women stationed all over the world really appreciate receiving these remembrances from home,” said LCVFSF president Paul Baffico.  “It’s one thing we can do to bring a little joy into a service member’s day, especially at this time of year.”.
