Volunteer to Clean Fort Sheridan

Veterans and Volunteers Work to Clean Fort Sheridan Cemetery Headstones in honor of Veterans Day, 2022 

Lake County Veterans and Family Services Foundation is leading a project to clean headstones in Fort Sheridan’s cemetery on Veteran’s Day, November 11 with the help of a limited number of local volunteers who want to do something important for those who have served. 

“This is an opportunity to give back and to honor those who have served us so well,” said LCVFSF president Paul Baffico 

Cleaning supplies will be available. All we need are helping hands. The work crew will assemble at noon at the Ft. Sheridan cemetery located at Vattman Road in Lake Forest, IL 60035. Work will conclude at 3 p.m.
